The Nomad

In the torrential rain I found this weary traveller in a puddle. With all his worldly goods on his back he could go no where quickly and I feared he would drown.

I scooped him up, after asking politely of course, and transferred him to the loving embrace and shelter of Buddha.

Imagine my surprise when an hour later his wise old face appeared at my door.

Whether he came to offer thanks, was simply passing by, or is now my guardian until the life debt is repaid… We shall have to wait and see.

UPDATE!

I have now been visited also by a three legged cat (excuse the photo quality)

Guys! I think this is the start of a quest!

It’s a small world

It’s not easy to fit a real story into just two sentences, but my twitter friend and author extraordinaire Rebecca Yelland likes to challenge herself and us other authors to do just that.

Check out the responses to that challenge on her blog, I think they’re impressive, and they were fun and interesting to do.

Challenge one – 3rd February 2018

Challenge two – 3rd March 2018
